Wordle of House magazines

The next task I had to complete was a Wordle about different magazines which are all about the genre of House music.

Doing this task has helped me to understand the different types of front covers of different magazines, and how they appeal to their individual target audience. e.g. My target audience is of ages 16-25, and looking at 'Kerrang' I noticed position of the title; which is usually place behind the main image on the front cover, due to 'Kerrang' already being a well established name, to emphasise the main images importance.

This task has also given me knowledge of House music magazine I wouldn't have otherwise known, I have also noted that the length of the title which don't usually go over 9 letters. This could be because the name must be short and catchy, if it is to be memorised by the people.

Mood Board on House music

This is a mood board video that I have made to give a brief insight into the life of a House music lover, like myself. This video was made on Final Cut Pro X and uploaded to youtube so that it is easy to view and can be viewed on the go. Making this video has helped me to understand more about what types of artists are currently "the best", so to speak. Hope you like the video!
