Music Magazine Names

For this task I decided to complete a SimpleMind mind map to present my ideas of possible music magazine names. This will help me in my preparation as every magazine needs a name, this is key in product differentiation to make the magazine stand out above all others.
From my previous posts I learnt that the names for a magazine should roll off the tongue, be short and be memorable to the consumer. I organised some interviews with the public aged 24-29, both male and female.
Taking on board the feedback, I have decided on the name "TRACK" (check out the next post!)

These were my initial suggestions for the magazine's name - What do you think?

So... what have I learnt so far?

This is a very brief summary of what I have learnt in this proces. In this post I will anaylize what I have learnt and will show why this would be useful in the future. This has helped me as it has reminded me of the previous posts and lessons on creating a decent magazine.

Preliminary Task - Front Cover and Contents Page

This is my first attempt at producing a magazine. I have done this so I can get used to using photoshop and familiarize myself with how to structure and layout a magazine. I understand that there are a lot of things to improve in this attempt. however, this is just my practise so I can recognise the dos and don'ts for colour schemes and several other factors etc... which will amalgamate to the magazine itself.

Double Page Spread Analysis

This is a Powtoon I made to show the effects that a double page spread can have to the audiences subconscious, e.g. Bold words attracts attention from the consumer. This will help me in the production of my own double page spread as it has shown me how to attract the audiences attention, and in turn making the magazine better to read and possibly easier to understand. Hope you enjoy!
